I turned off the toolbar and now I can use the app, but it no longer sends me a daily verse. Very disappointing. I really loved this app for the daily verse, it was almost always relevant to me and caused me to continue reading more scripture.

You can hear only a small selection of the chapter and then it turns itself off when the screen darkens. Then, there's no place to select to continue from where one left off, and one has to begin all over and tap the screen repeatedly to keep narration going.
